🎃 Happy Halloween, Students! 🎃
As you get ready for a night of fun and frights, here are some tips to ensure you stay safe:
-Travel in Groups: There’s safety in numbers. Stick with your friends and look out for each other.
-Stay Visible: Wear bright costumes or add reflective tape to your outfit. Carry a flashlight to help you see and be seen.
-Check Your Treats: Before diving into your candy haul, make sure to inspect all treats for any signs of tampering.
-Respect Others: Be mindful of your neighbors and their property. Not everyone celebrates Halloween, so be courteous.
-Stay on the Path: Stick to well-lit streets and avoid shortcuts through alleys or unlit areas.
-Emergency Contacts: Have a plan and know how to reach your friends or family if you get separated.
-Have a spooktacular time, but remember, safety first! 🕸️👻

We celebrate young people who are role models of good character in their communities and support the parents and educators who teach our young people to be trustworthy, respectful, responsible, fair, caring, and good citizens.

Chart your course to the school cafeteria to celebrate National School Lunch Week! The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) serves nearly 30 million children every school day. President John F. Kennedy created National School Lunch Week (NSLW) in 1962 to promote the importance of a healthy school lunch in a child’s life and its impact inside and outside the classroom. GCS students are invited to eat school meals free of charge through our participation in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP).
