Rania Zuri, the founder of the LiTEArary Society, traveled from the organization's Morgantown headquarters today to gift a brand-new copy of Pete the Cat to PreK/Head Start students countywide. Students at Lewisburg Elementary were so excited to receive their new books and greet Rania and her team members, Eden Gibson and Katie Lentz!
The LiTEArary Society is a youth-led charity book club that promotes reading to children (3 - 5 years of age). Since she was in 2nd grade, Rania has saved her money to purchase books for others and share her passion for reading. She is now a high school Junior and leads a group of over 50 high school volunteers and recently kicked off a road tour to donate a brand-new book to every child in Head Start programs in West Virginia.
