What is a School-Business Partnership? a Partnership is a collaborative relationship between a school (or school district) and a business designed to enhance educational opportunities and outcomes for students.

Why do School-Business Partnerships Matter? Partnerships leverage the resources, expertise, and networks of the business community to support student success in areas such as:

Student support (providing read-aloud, internships, mentoring, or career exploration),
Resource sharing (offering funding, materials, or technology),
Community engagement (building connections between schools and local industries).
Innovation (aligning education with real-world skills),

The goal is to create mutually beneficial initiatives that prepare students for future success while addressing the community's workforce needs and civic engagement.

Greenbrier County Schools partners with the Education Alliance and Caperton Center for School-Business Partnerships to enhance and recognize school-business partnerships throughout Greenbrier County.

Greenbrier Valley Family Activity Center Invites Survey & Open House Participation

A new community wellness and activity center planned for White Sulphur Springs will serve students and families of Greenbrier County. The Greenbrier Valley Family Activity Center is gathering input to help shape the proposed Center — including its programming, its design, and its naming.
